Police Chief Todd Waldin: A 19-year veteran of the Cohoes Police Department, Chief Waldin’s leadership experience has included working as a Certified Field Training Officer, a Drug Recognition Expert, and the Traffic Safety Grant Coordinator. Prior to joining the Cohoes Police Force in 2001, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 4.5 years, stationed in South Dakota and deployed to the Middle East and South Korea. A long-time resident of Cohoes, Waldin is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and Catholic Central High School.
Assistant Police Chief Tim Keefe: Assistant Chief Keefe, a 25 year veteran of the Department, is a Certified Instructor for Law Enforcement, Administrator of Basic Field Training, and Administrator of the Taser program. A life-long resident of Cohoes, he graduated from Cohoes High School, earned his degree at Hudson Valley Community College, went to work for the City of Cohoes at age 19, and joined the Cohoes Police Department at age 24.
